2024 亚太国际经济学奥林匹克竞赛报名通知​

The Australasian Economics Olympiad (AAEO) is an initiative of the Australian Economics Olympiad (AEO), commencing in 2023.

The AEO is Australia’s premier economics competition for high school students. With the AAEO, we are building on the success of the AEO and creating a fresh competition for students across the region, starting with schools in New Zealand and Singapore in addition to Australia.

The AAEO gives the national winners of regional Economics Olympiads the opportunity to compete, learn, and network at an even higher level. The AAEO has a deliberate emphasis on taking economics beyond the classroom, giving students the chance to apply economic theory and logic to a wide range of real-world events.

Key Dates​

Registration opens: 1 April, 2023.

Registration deadline: 31 May, 2023. (Registration is required by this date for subsequent submission.)

Submission deadline: 30 June, 2023.

Late entry deadline: 10 July, 2023. (Late entries are subject to a 20.00 USD charge, payable by 1 July.)

Notification of short-listed essayists: 31 July, 2023.

Academic conference & awards dinners: 16 September, 2023.
