AP Calculus AB/BC

AP Calculus consists of two parts AB (nominal) and BC (advanced). In general, most students take AB first and then BC in the next semester. However, it is possible to take just BC directly as most of the topics are compulsory to both courses. Pre-requisite is to score well in G10 mathematics or so-called Pre-Calculus course. Some very bright students could take AP Calculus in G9.

AP Physics 1, 2, c

AP Physics consists of three courses, AP1 (Mechanics and Waves) , AP2 (Fluids, Thermal Physics, Optics, Electricity, Nuclear Physics) and Physics C (Advanced Mechanics and Advanced Electricity). AP1 is the fundamental physics that is required before taking AP2. Physics C has two parts. Students have a choice to take both or just one of them. You do not need AP2 to take Physics C (Electricity) but it takes longer time to prepare.
AP English Language and Composition & AP English Literature and Composition

AP English Literature and Composition is an introductory college-level literary analysis course. Students cultivate their understanding of literature through reading and analyzing texts as they explore concepts like character, setting, structure, perspective, figurative language, and literary analysis in the context of literary works.
AP English Language and Composition is a study about the elements of argument and composition as you develop your critical-reading and writing skills. You’ll read and analyze nonfiction works from various periods and write essays with different aims: for example, to explain an idea, argue a point, or persuade your reader of something.
